Kari Granger is an executive coach, a leadership development educator, and a organizational alignment consultant. As a combat veteran herself, Ms. Granger has worked in close coordination with numerous branches of the U.S. armed forces and governmental agencies to achieve breakthrough mission performance, from leading logistical operations for hurricane evacuation missions and strategic planning initiatives for Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) activities, to solving airlift logistical challenges and leading U.S. troops under enemy fire during combat duty in Iraq.
In addition to her military work, Ms. Granger currently serves clients worldwide in a variety of industry to include healthcare, government and higher education. Most recently, Ms. Granger has developed a special interest and capacity for creating cultural alignment and human integration post-mergers and acquisitions. Granger studied at the Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, St Petersburg, Russia, is a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences, holds an M.A. in Education Leadership from the University of New Mexico, and holds the Professional Certified Coach designation with the International Coaching Federation.

He assisted her in turning around a downward revenue trend, worked with the owner to have a balanced work and family life, helped her to resolve personnel issues with grace and ease and finally he helped her to position the company for a successful purchase so that the owner could pursue her passion and dreams.
· New Avenues for Youth: Non-Profit Agency of 75 people working with Homeless Youth in Portland
Alan has adopted this non-profit agency as one of his pro bono projects. He provides executive coaching for the Director, leadership training for the senior management and hands on interventions with staff who are struggling with their accountabilities. Over the course of more than two years this Agency has created a Mission, adopted core values and is now in the process of having every aspect of the enterprise be an expression of those core values
· PARSA: NGO that trains Afghan’s to be leaders
This is another of Alan’s pro bono projects. Alan serves as both the executive coach for the director as well as facilitating and leading board retreats and providing training for the chairperson of the Board. He is now helping them to develop a long range financial strategy and a transition process for the ED when she is ready to move on to what is next for her.

Alan started as the executive coach for the founder of this multinational food business. After two months he was invited to support the founder in moving the business move from a “start up culture” to a mission vision values based organization that is a leader in its field. Alan provides training and coaching to all the key leaders in the business to both develop themselves as leaders and also to be highly productive.

Alan has worked with the owner and founder of this thriving Yoga studio for the past two years. Each year the studio has increased its revenue by over 25% and the studio now has a reputation for attracting the best teachers in the Seattle area because it is a place where people wanted to work. Alan worked with the owner to both create a mission driven, values based culture and to have her personal life thrive in the process.

Alan is the executive coach for the founder of this 7 year old organization. The owner/founder wanted to expand the business, have more time in her life to pursue some of her personal projects, and also create a business that would keep expanding after she leaves the business. Each year Alan has worked with the business there has been double digit growth, more time for the owner and a stabilizing of the business practices so that the owner's vision of creating a legacy is now a reality.

Alan worked with the partners and founders of this very successful employment agency to smoothly turn the company over to the next generation of leaders. Through the use of two on-site trainings that Alan developed and a few one on one coaching sessions this objective was realized.
Education and Background
Prior to his professional coaching career Alan hired, trained and mentored over 100 managers and leaders. He successfully launched and grew several new branches for an international educational corporation and passed them on in great shape. He understands what it takes to manage successful growth and at the same time create work cultures that bring out the best in people.
Alan holds a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Social Inquiry. He has post graduate training and expertise in strategic design, practical philosophy and business management. Additionally, he has been a professional individual, couple and group counselor.
